Set in the Tuscany countryside, one hour from Florence, 45 minutes from Sienna and only two hours from Pisa and Rome, the Cortona region is regarded by many as one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.

The accommodation consists of ground floor entrance hall with a day room containing a double sofa bed. There is a large modernised kitchen, a cool family room with small TV and DVD and a large modern bathroom containing a double shower.

Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms, three with double beds and one with twin beds. There is a further day room containing a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower and bath.

All the rooms are spacious and the house easily lends itself to be split into two parts to enable two families to share if required. We have accommodated 12 people on many occasions.

If further accommodation is required, our neighbour can make available the top floor of her lovely house for summer rental. This is suitable for four persons at very reasonable rates.

 

The outside space consists of a small vineyard to the rear surrounded by fruit and olive trees. To the side of the house is parking for two cars and a shady pine tree grove with a hammock.

The immediate location has stunning views and if biking, hiking or just a gentle stroll is your thing then you will be spoiled for choice. The town of Camucia, a typically quiet Italian town with few tourists or holiday lets is only eight minutes by car from the house. The locals are extremely friendly and hospitable.

The central location of the house offers many opportunities for enjoyable fun/cultural day trips.
